A friend of mine is helping with this fundraiser to support the "I am Liu Xioabo" campaign to help families of prisoners of conscience in China. Funds raised at this event will help to support the Adopt A Prisoner Campaign, which you can learn more about here. Nobel Peace Prize winning writer and democracy advocate Liu Xioabo is now serving an 11 year prison term for his writings on freedom and justice.
