"Divine Revelations" is a site-specific photography installation in which Carolina Mayorga uses her own image to recreate Roman Catholic religious scenes inspired by masterpieces. For this project the artist reconstructs iconic depictions of Virgin Mary in a series of photographs and text. This is a continuation of projects examining issues of cultural identity, gender and ethnicity.
