Dovetail House Concert and Benefit Event

by donation, any amount welcome
Please RSVP as space is limited

Freyda's Hands, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for traditional folk musicians and other artists to collaborate across genres, and educate the public about traditional performing folk arts and the collaborative process, invites you to an intimate evening featuring The Dovetail Ensemble, featuring Phil Wiggins, Owen Morrison, Andrea Hoag, Nic Gareiss, Daron Douglas, Jodi Beder. The Ensemble arose from the Old Doors/New Worlds project, which since 2009 has been bringing together musicians and dancers from different traditions, generations, and parts of the country to create new music. You can watch a mini-documentary about the program here

The house concert is a special fundraiser to support Dovetail's school programs. Note, in the invite it says $20 suggested as this is a benefit but any amount is welcome. Space is limited, so please RSVP to Anna annarain4 at gmail and she'll provide you with the details about location, parking, etc...

Note: I usually don't post events without location info but this was passed on by a dear friend and sounds like a wonderful program. Please contact Anna if you have any questions.
