PAST: ART: Closing Party & Artist Talk with ULTRA at The Fridge this SUN, Oct 28th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, Free

Artist Talk with ULTRA + Closing Party for ULTRA and Laura Elkins
at The Fridge, near Eastern Market
Sunday, October 28th
1:00pm - 3:00pm
Free

This Sunday at 1:00pm, ULTRA will talk about his history as an artist starting out in 1981 at the age of 16, his influences and the evolution of his style over time. While there, check out his first solo show “quiet walks in dangerous places”  a series of all new portraits using his signature lean, angular style.

At 2:00pm, ULTRA and Laura Elkins will have a closing party for quiet walks in dangerous places and Packin' Heat Talkin' Dirty. ULTRA’s portraits are inspired by the people he has seen while working in the early morning hours on the streets of DC. ULTRA has previously shown work at the Smithsonian, MOCA Gallery, Workhouse Gallery, Art Whino, Lamont Bishop Gallery, Torpedo Factory, and more.

Read more in these write ups: ULTRA and Laura were featured in Roll Call and We Love DC. You can also see this one, covering the same event: quiet walks in dangerous places...
