Don't miss this extraordinary opportunity to meet artist iona rozeal brown and learn more about her painting, afro.died, T, recently acquired by the Corcoran and now on view. Participate in activities that explore the connections between visual art, music, performance art, and writing and that inspire ideas for K-12 curricula. Readings by Leslie Maitland and Vaddey Rainer
Readings by Leslie Maitland, author of "Crossing the Borders of Time: A True Story of War, Exile and Love Reclaimed" and Vaddey Rainer, author of "In The Shadow of the Banyan" and discussion moderated by freelance writer and poet Judy Leaver of WNBA-DC. Reception and book signing will follow the readings.
