Sri Yoga is a donation based yoga practice designed to be an "ease full, peace full practice that uses full yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation." Please arrive 10 minutes early with an empty stomach. All donations benefit a charity of the teacher's choice.
The class is a slower pace than most yoga classes I have been to, allowing you to hold the pose longer and to move into it. Often poses are repeated twice and there is a focus on breath, meditation and the spaces between poses. Great also for those getting back into their practice or new to yoga.
Yoga teachers for this series include: Darin Para Somma, Adrian Heizmann-Checa and Emily Gupta.

Best to join the Sri Yoga facebook page and/ or the Sri Yoga DC google group to be informed of any changes to the regular Thursday schedule.
