Please Note: Seating cannot be guaranteed for any ticket holder after 9:10pm and this event always fills out. Please arrive early, line forms around 8:30pm and doors open at 8:45pm
Costumes welcome at this October edition of Story Contest at Busboys and Poets at 14th & V, featuring "Stories About Things That Are Scary!" Hosted by S.M. Shrake. Guest Judges this edition: Michael Chan (Social Media Czar, Busboys and Poets), Meredith Fineman (CEO, FinePoint Digital PR; blogger, girls-arent-funny.com), Reggie Melbrough (Comedian)

Tellers have a maximum 7 minutes to tell a true story on the theme Scary. This could be anything from a true ghost story to a murder mystery to the worst case of stage fright you've ever had. Just make it entertaining! The winner will be announced at the end of the night and will receive $100 cash as a prize. The audience will also select its favorite! Winners will go on to compete for $250 in Tournament 4 on 12/19 at Busboys 14th & V.
