The 12th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival will be held on the National Mall between 9th and 14th Streets this Saturday and Sunday. This year's festival will feature authors, poets and illustrators in several pavilions, including two Sunday-only pavilions: Science Fiction, Fantasy & Graphic Novels and Special Programs. Festival-goers can meet and hear firsthand from their favorite poets and authors, get books signed, hear special entertainment, have photos taken with storybook characters and participate in a variety of activities. Junot Diaz, Patricia Cornwell, Jeffrey Eugenides, Mario Vargas Llosa and Walter Isaacson are just a few of the notable authors who will be on hand to discuss their work and to meet their fans. For more information, including festival times, go to Book Fest.
