Join BloomBars and TransAfrica for a collection of short films by Namibian filmmaker, Vickson Hangula - 'Place of Peace' ( 2012, 32 min, Drama, English) and 'Once We Were Hunters' (2011, 48 min, Docu-drama, English and Ju, with English subtitles). After the screening, there will be a Q&A with the filmmaker Vickson Hangula.


"Place of Peace" takes the viewer to a mystic Namibia. "Once We Were Hunters" gives  voice to a Bushman, who talks about the changes in their lives as modernization influences their traditions. Learn more about the films here!
