Enjoy cooking demos, food tastings and workshops and more at HAFA's all day summit food security in DC. Learn about the food system in your community, and what issues keep healthy food available or make food inaccessible in our area.
HAFA is a volunteer-powered food justice network, that meets regularly to share food and connect people from all over the city having a direct impact on the food system. DC Food Future is at the peak of 2 years of community conversations about the DC food system and neighborhood-level solutions to food justice issues through HAFA's "Community Brainstorms”--which have included more than 350 participants from communities all over DC. On the 8th, HAFA will share Community Brainstorm results with past participants.
