Roy Assaf Trio plays at the DCJCC
Wednesday, December 19th
7:30pm - 9:00pm
$10 general, $8 members, seniors and students with ID
While growing up in Tel Aviv, pianist Roy Assaf spent untold hours listening to his brother’s collection of jazz records, fascinated by the musicianship of the players and the exuberance of the music. Roy's energetic, newly-formed trio boasts a fresh musical flavor that combines a Middle Eastern sensibility with Latin American melodies into a unique, one-of-a-kind jazz experience. The trio features Roy Assaf on piano, Jake Goldbas on drums and Raviv Markovitz on bass.
