The Phillips’s annual free weekend -  which takes place as part of the Dupont-Kalorama Museum Walk Weekend and in collaboration with the DC Jazz Festival - will feature live jazz performances throughout the museum, including musicians improvising to paintings in the galleries! Kids will have a chance to create jazz-inspired art to take home and visit the instrument petting zoo and everyone will have a chance to explore the permanent collection too. 

Note: Regular Admission if you come on the weekend, on Saturday or Sunday, and there is not a special exhibit on view is $10, reduced to $8 for students and seniors. When there is a special exhibit, admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students and for visitors 62 and over. Free for members and those 18 and under all of the time!  Also be sure to see the post on Free in DC about Thursday night extended hours and by donation as well as donation-based weekday admission for the permanent collection.
