This is the final weekend to view the exhibition of linocuts by Lila Oliver Asher, DC area printmaker for over 60 years and professor emeritus from Howard University, on view now at the Washington Printmakers Gallery at the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Silver Spring. Asher's work is most often figurative in nature, and her line quality has been compared to that of Matisse in the past.
