"For the past ten years Susan Weil and José Betancourt have worked closely together to develop ways of printing and presenting a body of artwork based on the Cyanotype, also known as the photographic “Blueprint.” Their collaborative works range from personal and autobiographical to formal constructions."
Weil is an painter and mixed media artist from New York City. Her first Cyanotypes date back to the early 1950's and to her partnership with Robert Rauschenberg. Betancourt is Professor of Art and Art History at the Univ. of Alabama in Huntsville who has been working with alternative photographic processes for 20 years.
