Rebirth (2011, 108 min, directed by Jim Whitaker) is a documentary that chronicles the lives of five people directly affected by the events of 9.11.01 and tracks the evolution of the entire rebuilding at the World Trade Center site through multicamera time-lapse photography. The film is an act of personal witness to one of the most profound events in American history and the healing that has come in its wake.
