PAST: Adams Morgan ANC 1C hosts Free Community e-Cycling & Free Paper Shredding! SAT, Oct 1st from 9:00am - 12:00pm

ANC IC is doing it again! Bring your old electronics and hazardous waste items down to the Mary's Center, 2355 Ontario Rd, NW - enter Ontario Road parking lot - this Saturday morning and they will bring it over to the Fort Totten Transfer Station for recycling for you! They'll also have a mobile secure shredding unit on hand to shred any records you no longer need.

WHAT to bring: household electronics and hazardous waste to be recycled. Also bring any records and papers (e.g., old bank statements, pay stubs, etc.) that you would like to have destroyed. The mobile shredding unit has a video monitor that allows you to watch as your documents are destroyed.

While there, you can also get your blood pressure checked by the DC Fire & Emergency Medical Services (DC FEMS) who will be there onsite providing free blood pressure screenings!
