Come learn about Indian vegetarian cooking with noted novelist, writer, and culinary adventurer, Nani Power. Join Slow Food DC as Nani speaks about Indian vegetarian/Jain food and shares excerpts from her latest book, Ginger and Ganesh. Take a sneak peek into her treasured spice box and learn about culinary and health uses for its various ingredients.
Bring along a dish to share for the potluck afterward! There will be a free talk and book reading followed by a Q&A, signing and potluck (Indian and/ or vegitarian dishes encouraged). Sounds like a great, interactive event!
