One Common Unity hosts "Voices of a Movement" monthly Open Mic
Sunday, November 20th
8:00pm - 10:00pm
Donation based, $5 suggested
Every month One Common Unity hosts an open mic at Busboys and Poets highlighting a different issue facing our community. Folks taking the stage are welcome to bring work about any topic which concerns you to share, just arrive a little early if you want to get on the open mic list. This open mic is a chance to share your story through music, spoken word poetry and other artistic mediums... if performing is not your thing, you are of course welcome to come out and to watch and listen.
This month's community open mic topic is "The Digital Divide and Net Neutrality" Featured artists include: James Terrell, La Veda and Peace.
Proceeds benefit One Common Unity's Fly By Light Youth Program.
