"The House of Bernarda Alba" by Federico García Lorca, adapted by Emily Mann, will be directed by Gillian Drake and features an all-female cast with Valerie Leonard as Bernarda Alba.
"Following her husband’s funeral, powerful matriarch Bernarda Alba decrees to her five daughters that the household will enter a period of eight years of mourning. Jealousy, suppressed sexuality, sisterly love and back-biting brew as the 5 daughters resist this curse of certain spinsterhood and compete for the only viable suitor, the fiancé of the eldest daughter, Angustias."
