"Many young people in DC who are in need of mentors have to wait up to 3 years to be paired with a caring adult. Join HandsOn Greater DC Cares for the Mentoring Fair, and you’ll be taking the first step to counteract that trend. DC Cares is actively recruiting a diverse pool of mentors to serve the needs of at-risk youth across the region. At the fair, you will be able to explore the opportunity to shape the life of a young person by meeting program leaders face-to-face, learning about their programs and expectations."
