Four short films will be screened. Stories on growing faith-based environmental movement: “Crime Against Creation” Evangelicals fight mountaintop removal in Appalachia. “Food for Faith” - Muslims forge bonds between urban communities & sustainable farms in IL. “Compassion in Action” - Green Sangha, a Buddhist group in northern CA, campaigns to save trees. “Eco-Justice” - An African American community in Mississippi fights environmental contamination. Q&A with panel after film; facilitated by Nils and Yiming of the DC Citizens Climate Lobby.
