See clips from the Jusice On Trial, which screened earlier this week at Sankofa Cafe. The documentary provides an in-depth perspective into the life and unfair trial of Mumia Abu Jamal, who was placed on death row for 29 years.
The video clips will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Professor and PhD, who is also the film's writer and director, Johanna Fernandez, historian, journalist and professor Jared Ball, and daughter of Political prisoner Russel Marron Shoatz, Theresa Shoatz. Also featuring a call in from Mumia in prison!
This event is a part of a series of events building up toward the Occupy the Department of Justice rally for Mumia on April 24th.
