This international symposium, organized by the Center for Global Studies at George Mason University, features films, presentations, spoken word performance, and an art exhibit of the Peruvian artists collective Itinerant Museum Art for Memory. It explores the ways in which art is used to challenge violence and promote social change. Activist and entrepreneur Andy Shallal of Busboys & Poets will deliver keynote address.
