Join author, musician, teacher and long-time D.C. Resident David Newcomb, pictured, for a free meditation workshop at the Anacostia Library. He will discuss how meditation can help heal us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Find out how meditation can awaken us to our higher purpose, connect us to the source of all happiness within us and help us lead more enriching and productive lives.
Metro: Anacostia or Eastern Market and take the Circulator bus to the stop closest to 1800 Good Hope Rd, SE. It's about a 1.2 mile walk from the metro so best to take the bus, it runs about every ten minutes. See map from metro. Note: you catch the Circulator on the main street, not at the metro bus stop section.
