The DC Festival returns to Dance Place with the DC Premiere of Teo Castellanos' D-Projects Breaking/Dub Dance-Theater Mash-up "Fat Boy." See video clip. Written and directed by Teo Castellanos with choreography by TCDP ensemble members, Fat Boy explores rice rituals juxtaposed against hip-hop dance, Jamaican dub, Balinese aesthetic and spoken-word to explore the themes of scarcity and abundance in America and the world.
