Come out for a reception to celebrate a retrospective of the work of printmaker Mary Morrison at Printmakers Inc., #325 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA.
As a printmaker for more than 30 years, Morrison created etchings, monoprints and monotypes. Her subjects ranged from landscapes & seascapes, to still life, to the whimsical. She was not bound by the “rules” of printmaking and would often take her pieces one step further creating an impression unexpected by printmaking.
