The public is invited to a free celebration of dance in the majestic Carter Barron Amphitheatre in Rock Creek Park. Metro DC Dances is an annual concert showcasing DMV area dance companies on one of DC's most beautiful stages. This year's participating companies include Contradiction Dance, Company E, Furia Flamenco, G.U.M.M.I.E., Maida Withers Dance Construction Company, Silk Road Dance Company, Capitol Movement Project, and Kaution Dance Kru for this annual celebration.
Objects of Hope celebrates the significant and silly objects that bind us to our own humanity. Contradiction Dance blends dance and theatre to uncover the surprising, tender, humorous and personal objects that inspire us to rise
above circumstance and excel.

4850 Colorado Ave, NW - at16th St & Colorado Ave
Metro: McPherson Sq, Columbia Heights or Silver Spring and walk over to 16th St to catch the S2 or S4 bus that takes you right past Carter Barron
