International Day of Action for Animal Rights in Dupont Circle Speaking out for the lives of Cats and Dogs in South Korea
Tuesday, August 7th
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Free
From the info submitted: "Every year in South Korea, over two million dogs and thousands of cats are killed for food." You're invited to join the Animal Welfare Institute and In Defense of Animals at Dupont Circle this Tuesday at 4:00pm. If you have a yellow shirt, they ask that you wear it in recognition of the yellow dogs. From Dupont Circle there will be a march down Massachusetts Avenue to the South Korean embassy to rally for a prohibition against the production and sale of dog and cat meat in South Korea. If you have a dog, feel free to bring your dog along to join in the action.
