Rebar, a public art and design studio, is teaming up with neighborhood business associations, the DC Office of Planning (DCOP), local restaurants, and artists have come together to create this event, the Open Kitch'n Culture Crawl, where you can sample tasty bites for $10 at several cool locations along 14th Street, NW between Shepherd and Spring (map). Highlights along the trip also include new murals at 14th & Randolph and live music, craft cocktails and ice cream sammies at the Red Derby. The crawl will make stops at several locations for a sampling of local flavor and cool refreshments. Revenue from event ticket sales will go to support local business development and seed economic initiatives.
