Bigger than the Beatles: Obama and the Peeps (2010, 82 min), view trailer, directed by Charles Krezell, produced by David Minckler - takes us back to the exciting days of the First Obama Inauguration, as seen through the eyes of everyday people in Washington, DC! Filmed the week of Barack Obama's inauguration on January 20, 2009, "Bigger than the Beatles" follows DC's own Dunbar High School Marching Band and students from the Horizons alternative school in suburban Atlanta, as they prepare for the inauguration. The screening will be followed by a Q&A discussion. They are planning to be joined in-person by producer David Minckler, and via Skype by filmmaker Charles Krezell.
