Highlights Post for Saturday, February 2nd & Sunday, February 3rd
"Vintage Valentine workshop using vintage paper and ephemera to make awesome, glittery Valentines." If you're interested in participating, please let the organizer know-- space is limited to 12 for now, although if there's a lot of interest we may add a second session. All materials are provided, which does mean there's a $10 materials fee.

"Come see the top high school poets from the DC area compete in a poetry slam for a chance to earn a spot on the 2013 DC Youth Slam Team. These teenage performance poets have qualified for Semi-Finals by winning previous slams and will be performing their own original poetry of provocation and witness to be judged by members of the audience."
