Weekend East City Event Round Up: Scarred Edition

The Trinidad-based gallery invites the public to indulge in an artistic offering of the following artists: Amy Feldman, Linn Meyers, Maggie Michael and W.C. Richardson.  Brunch is group show featuring many gallery mainstays.

Monica Jahan Bose will give an artist talk and woodblock print demonstration in anticipation of her September opening of Storytelling with Saris.  Bose travelled to the remote Bengali island of Katakhali where she recorded the oral histories of 12 women with whom she created Sari prints.
