(see trailer, 2005, 52 min) is director Julio Silvão Tavares’ documentary on the Batuque; a dance and music art form of Cape Verde + Q&A w/ director Julio Silvão Tavares in Cape Verde, via Skype after the film!  Note: They usually try to start the screening at 7:00pm so please arrive a little earlier if you can.
