The U.S. debut (Soloist with a Large Ensemble) of oboist Rossana Calvi - Principal Oboist of the Orchestra “Gran Teatro La Fenice” (Venice, Italy) and Winner of the Troisième Prix at the 54th Concours International d'Execution Musicale de Genève. A special outreach performance by The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own,” under the Direction of Associate Conductor CPT Richard A. Winkels - The World Premiere of Timothy Goplerud’s “De Profundis” for Oboe and Band (performed by oboist SSG Meredeth Rouse), All Selections offer Closer Look at Gen. John J. Pershing's Unique Contributions to Music History.
