Join GreenDrinksDC for their May Happy Hour, this month at the new spot just south of Dupont Circle, The Gryphon. They'll discuss sustainable sips - while enjoying some over some sustainable sangria perhaps - starting at 7:00pm. This is a great opportunity to "Learn the Labels" as they offer factoids on the green-friendly ways and certifications of vineyards, international brands and local breweries. Bring ideas on how you vote green with your dollars and research companies and packaging beyond "organic".
The Gryphon in Dupont charmingly notes numerous vegetarian and gluten-free items on their diverse menu, which includes a Sangria Tuesday option for $5 white and red house wine Sangrias
until the carafes are empty!
