She is certified in the Integral Yoga method and Jyoti meditation and has studied in America and India with master teachers of Sant Mat, known as the Science of Spirituality in the west.  Debbie began her study of the human body as a classical ballet dancer. She danced for 20 years and studied yoga to help prevent injuries and manage the demanding nature of her dancing career. Debbie states, “I started teaching yoga to help me relax and recharge from a very demanding dance schedule. It worked for me. I really could feel the benefit of this ancient healing art."  She teaches the classical style of yoga which focuses on healing the tension – blocking off the energy flow – in the system caused by stress to bring the body back to optimal health and well-being.
