This Friday night Busboys and Poets Hyattsville location presents "First Fridays," a new monthly series that includes artist talks, local studio visits and more and includes a reception, presentations and the opportunity to meet other local artists and to see their work in the surrounding area.  Light hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served.

This month's presenters are:  Ed Bisese, Tom Hill, John Paradiso, Laura Schandelmeier & Stephen Clapp, Dance Box Theater.

Metro: See metro trip-planner for best bus access from metro. You can take the green line metro to PG Plaza, College Park or West Hyattsville and take a bus or from PG or WH, you can take a short taxi ride, about $7. I think there is also a bus that goes from Rhode Island Avenue metro on the red line though that may be a longer trip.
