Homeland: Four Portraits of Native Action (2005, 88 min), by Roberta Grossman – Nearly all Indian lands in the U.S. face grave environmental threats, but a handful of activists are fighting back.
In February, we screened the first half of Homeland. For March, BloomScreen continues with the stories of Mitchell & Rita Capitan of the Eastern Navajo in New Mexico and Barry Dana of the Penobscot of Maine.
Post-film discussion by Nils Petermann and Yiming Roberts of the Citizens Climate Lobby DC and Melissa Bisagni of the National Museum of the American Indian.
