"Kathleen Staudt, (pictured) a poet and adjunct teacher of Religion and the Arts at DC’s Wesley Theological Seminary, will explore how the process of writing can free up our inner voices and put us in touch with sources of healing within our own words and stories. The workshop will include opportunities for writing in solitude and in community, offering prompts and exercises for journaling, poetry writing, and quiet meditation as resources for the journey of healing."
While there, be sure to check out FLUID: Rhythms, Transitions, & Connections the exhibition on view - through Saturday, June 9th - that this workshop is inspired by, in the Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery at Smith Center.
