PAST: CELEBRATION: Celebrate Fat Tuesday with live bands and more in Adams Morgan, Indoor and Outdoor Performances on TUES, Feb 13th from 6:30pm - 10:00pm, Free, 21+ for bar events, Outdoor events are open to all!

Enjoy marching bands and a night of music and dance this Fat Tuesday with festivities starting at 6:30pm at select venues in Adams Morgan. There will be the Dixieland jazz of LaRue Horn and the Brazilian batucada and samba dancers of ZeZe Brasil Samba School. If weather permits music will also be performed on the street to highlight the new streetscape design which has significantly widened sidewalks and improved public amenities in this colorful neighborhood. Each musical group will perform at the five different venues along 18th St. & Columbia Road.

Outdoor events in Adams Morgan
  • Kick off  at 18th/Florida Ave. NW featuring LaRue Horns – Dixieland Jazz at 6:30pm!
  • ZeZe Brasil Samba dances at 18th/Columbia Road NW at 7:15pm
  • Band TBA at 18th/Kaloroma at 8:00pm

Metro: Events starting at the bottom of Adams Morgan at Florida Ave re closer to Dupont Circle, just walk up 18th St. Events closer to 18th & Columbia are best reached by bus, the 42 or 43 from downtown toward Mt Pleasant from Connecticut Ave or Dupont Circle, or you  can walk or take the Circulator bus one stop from Woodley Park Metro.
