Note: Film Screenings are $12, Screenings 12:00pm - 9:00pm
Though the film screenings are above the $10 or less rule for Free in DC, if you factor in the complementary jazz and mimosas starting at 11:30am, the creation of a mural at 4:00pm, live performances and food at 7:00pm, and complimentary dessert and coffee at 9:00pm, you might be up for spending $12 on a screening. Our City Film Festival-Presented by Yachad: Our Body Film Block - DC-focused documentaries, narratives and experimental films are showcased in a full day of screenings and festivities that celebrate our city’s myriad cultures, residents, communities and spirit.

Free in DC is an arts, culture, and consciousness resource dedicated to all the cool, free, low-cost things to do in Washington, DC… proving you don't need to spend a lot to live a rich life in this town! See DC through the eyes of a local who lives in the city and is plugged into the scene. All events are free, donation-based, or $10 or less and accessible by Metro or bus in VA, MD or DC.
