Higher Ground - LEA and Friends in Concert at the Washington Ethical Society - with DrumLady Kristen Arant and Singer/Songwriter Courtney Dowe
Sunday, July 28th
7:30pm - 9:30pm
All ages, by donation, $10-$15 suggested, kids 12 and under $7 suggested, please give as you can

Join singer/songwriter LEA and bassist, William Henderson for some Stevie and some originals along with some songs to lift you up. Also performing, DrumLady Kristen Arant and singer/ songwriter Courtney Dowe will bring her socially and personally conscious music to the evening. Come prepared to sing along some, tap your toes and have your heart elevated.

On a personal note, I wanted to share that this event is sure to be a treat with three women who have been playing in the DC area for many years! I've known both Kristen and Courtney for quite a while now and have seen them grown as women and as performers over the years. LEA used to be a regular at the "Sounds of Hope" series at The Potters House as well.  The the suggested donation for this one is a bit higher than I usually post, in this case I am making an exception in support of some hard working, talented ladies who I know create soulful and inspiring music. I also checked in with them and they said it'd be fine to post and they encourage people to donate as they are able.
