PAST: The Final Performance in the "Take it to the Bridge" series will be "This Space Occupied" by Maida Withers with composer Steve Hilmy at the Corcoran this SAT, Sept 15th, in partnership with WPA, Included with Admission to Museum

Washington Project for the Arts and the Corcoran Gallery of Art present "Take it to the Bridge" a nine-week series of installations and performances to take place July 18th - September 15th on the Performance Bridge located in the Corcoran’s 17th Sreet entrance. Installations will open on Wednesday and remain on view through the following Sunday. Performances will take place on Saturdays, from 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Maida Withers with composer Steve Hilmy
DC performer, choreographer, and filmmaker, Withers, working with composer Steve Hilmy, reveals the precariousness of life in the glass cage in a 5-hour stream of consciousness event inspired by notions of the Occupy movement.
