PAST: FESTIVAL: Check out the Green Festival for Free if you ride your Bike and park in the Free Bike Valet! $10 Students with ID on site, $15 general SUN, Sept 30th

The Annual Green Festival is back in DC this Weekend!
Get in for Free if you ride your bike there! Park in the free bike valet and get a free pass to the event. Students with ID get a reduced $10 admission at the door.

$15 general at the door, $10 in advance, plus small  fee


I usually don't post events more than $10 but I wanted to give a shout out for this event which I really enjoy!

Final Day! Sunday, September 30th

The Green Festival is back at The Convention Center this weekend with a marketplace of over 300 eco-friendly businesses! Recommend checking this one out if you can. See the website for a list of speakers, vendors, etc...

The event will feature more than 125 renowned authors, leaders and educators; hands-on DIY workshops; a Sierra Club environmental green film installation; a green kids' zone; organic beer and wine; vegetarian cuisine (available for purchase) and a diverse line up of live music. "Learn how to invest in your community, green your home and avoid products made without consideration of the earth or its people. A wealth of information, education and inspiration awaits you at Green Festival."

Ralph Nader - 1:00pm
Consumer advocate, author, lawyer and former Presidential Candidtate
Medea Benjamin -  4:00pm
Social justice advocate and co-founder of CODEPINK and Global Exchange
