Thursday night in  Penn Quarter at Penn Social (801 E St, NW 6pm-8pm) and Penn Quarter Sports Tavern (639 Indiana Ave, NW 8pm-10pm) and Friday, September 14th downtown  at Public Bar (1214 B 18th St, NW 6pm-8pm) and Eden Nightclub (1716 I St, NW 10pm-Midnight). Author Jeff Clements, Corporations Are Not People at Busboys and Poets

Author Jeff Clements will discuss the impact of the Citizen's United case and his recent book, Corporations Are Not People: Why They Have More Rights Than You Do and What You Can Do About It. Clements is the co-founder of Free Speech for People, a national non-partisan campaign to challenge the creation of constitutional rights for corporations, overturn Citizens United v. FEC, and strengthen American democracy.
