Thursday night in  Penn Quarter at Penn Social (801 E St, NW 6pm-8pm) and Penn Quarter Sports Tavern (639 Indiana Ave, NW 8pm-10pm) and Friday, September 14th downtown  at Public Bar (1214 B 18th St, NW 6pm-8pm) and Eden Nightclub (1716 I St, NW 10pm-Midnight). Author Jeff Clements will discuss the impact of the Citizen's United case and his recent book, Corporations Are Not People: Why They Have More Rights Than You Do and What You Can Do About It. Clements is the co-founder of Free Speech for People, a national non-partisan campaign to challenge the creation of constitutional rights for corporations, overturn Citizens United v. FEC, and strengthen American democracy.
