Come on out to this annual fundraising lunch and support the fight against hunger! In celebration of World Food Day, Table for Two AU and Table for Two DC will host a lunch at American University where you can say “Itadakimasu!” (that's Japanese for "Bon Appetit") in unison with people from around the world. You'll have a chance to gather with others to enjoy food from around the world and learn more about activities of Table for Two. There will be a lunch of delicious and healthy foods from TFT partner-restaurants: Rice Bar (Korean), Sushi Taro (Japanese) and Megabytes (American). They'll also have samples of “posho/ugali” for you to try, it's an African school meal provided to children with TFT donations.

In addition the the lunch, the program will also include a presentation about TFT and World Food Day, a talk by a guest speaker, and a video call with other TFT chapters around the world.
Table For Two (TFT) is an international NGO that works with obesity and malnutrition in developed and developing countries with a meal at a time. In the DC area, various restaurants provide healthy TFT- branded meals. When purchased, 25 cents of the proceeds is used to feed a child in the developing world.
