DCTV will bring the DC community together to celebrate its 25th anniversary of successfully providing public access television to city residents with an afternoon live music, popular food trucks and an awards ceremony and reception for influential DC residents. Live music featuring Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Carolyn Malachi and jazz sensation, and Sunny Sumter, Executive Director of DC Jazz Festival. Local radio host Kojo Nnamdi will host the event.

The Martin Family Band plays Old-Time, Bluegrass and Irish Music in Silver Spring

The Martin Family Band presents and an evening of old-time, bluegrass and Irish music. The family of musicians draws on the traditions of Old Time Appalachian string band music, dance music of Ireland and early European and American music. They have been performing nationally and internationally since 1995.

Erin Foley, nationally known and loved comedian, actress and writer from the Conan O’Brien Show and Comedy Central, is bringing her rapid-fire speech and acerbic wit to the Hartke Theater (Catholic University) this Saturday.
