One hour prior to the concert, join us for the "Instrument Petting Zoo," a project of the Women's Committee for the National Symphony Orchestra. Ankush Kumar Bahl, conductor and Nick Kendall, violin & host.

Listen Up! Music is a Language is a full orchestra concert that explores how music inspires the imagination and speaks to us in various ways. The concert will touch upon the unique qualities music has as a language to energize us, to describe complex emotions, tell us stories, and connect us to each other. Join the NSO in this live concert experience that shows how music is our first language! Performance Timing: 60 minutes, with no intermission.
