“We sing about not daring to love and give of yourself due on prejudice and fear, songs about vulnerability and poverty, about what it is like to leave your homeland and your relatives with expectations that you will succeed abroad, “ Sousou explains.
The performance will include newly composed music, produced with support by Sweden’s Board of Culture. Accompanied by percussionist Samory Seck. The music will also appear on their new album to be released in the spring of 2014.
