Virginia Cooperative Extension Workshop at Arlington Arts Center presents a Pamela Hess, Executive Director of Arcadia Farms who will talk about “The 5 Ws of Sustainable Agriculture and Eating.” Her lecture will highlight the economic and social impact of eating local food while providing the basics of sustainable agriculture – what makes some produce safer than others, and how to find the best food to put on your table. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A about sustainable food in an urban community.
